Welcome to class! Your decision to come to this section of iVoteValues.com tells us you are interested in learning more about what can be a very confusing event—an election.
It’s relatively easy to vote in an election. It takes more effort to be prepared to go into that voting booth to vote your beliefs and your values. When people of faith realize the long-term implications of voting their values, our country will change for the better.
Now what does it really mean to “vote your values”? Well, simply put, it means looking at all the issues, and then the candidates, through a biblically framed grid. It means allowing your faith to direct your decisions, not slick campaign ads or emotional appeals by politicians desperate for your vote. It means bucking the system and saying, “I’ll make my own decisions based upon what my faith tells me.”
The iVoteValues.com site has been crafted in a way that should assist you in making the best God-honoring choices possible. This site is not about telling you whom to vote for but how you should evaluate those vying for your support.
We hope the following information will give you a clear and concise overview of the election process. If you have any questions, we encourage you to digitally raise your hand, sorta like in 7th grade. That is, send us an e-mail or post on our iVoteValues.com blog.
We have no doubt you’ll pass Election 101 with flying colors!
